The Story Behind OMIC: A Legacy of Innovation in Skincare

OMIC, short for “Of Mitchell International Cosmetics,” began its journey in the mid-1980s in the UK with a bold vision: to create a high-end, scientifically rooted skincare line that delivers real results. From the beginning, we understood that beauty is more than skin-deep—it starts at the cellular level.

As our journey evolved, we quickly realized the limitations of cosmetic science in the UK at the time. This led us to Switzerland, the global epicenter of skincare innovation, where we began working closely with a leading doctor in cellular technology based in Geneva.

By the 1990s, our formulas had advanced significantly, powered by cellular delivery systems and Alpine herbal extracts—pure, potent botanicals known for their healing and regenerating properties. In 1996, we moved our production to Canton de Vaud, Switzerland, to fully harness this technology. It was there that OMIC began earning global goodwill for merging nature with next-gen skincare science.

In 2000, we brought that legacy to the United States, continuing our mission in California, where we’ve spent the past 25 years modernizing, refining, and ethically reimagining skincare.

Today (Miami), OMIC is proud to embrace a clean, vegan, and ethical approach, focusing on minimizing irritation while maximizing performance. While we explored nanotechnology briefly, our focus remains on biocompatible, plant-based formulations, designed to work in harmony with the skin.
